Can I start at any time?
Yes, new students can start at any time, there is no experience necessary . Whether you are in excellent physical condition, or looking to improve your fitness level, capoeira is a challenging cardio and strength training workout. On your first day, please arrive at least 10 minutes before class time to fill out a release form.
What can I expect?
Be prepared to work out! Capoeira is a very physical activity. You should make time to stretch before and after each class. The normal class structure starts with stretching, leads into training according to level, and ends with a Roda.
What should I wear?
Students should wear clothes to work out in, ideally in the color white. Workout pants as opposed to shorts are best. Eventually, you will need to wear a Capoeira Malês uniform.
